With a promising future, J. C. Ribeiro is currently building a second industrial unit to respond to a significant increase in production and also to ensure that its principle customers’ contingency plans are met to the full.
The new industrial unit will not only be increasing the company’s’ production capacity, but it will also assist in conquering new markets whilst at the same time enable the company to implement one of its main goals, that is, to continue to reduce its ecological footprint.
J. C. Ribeiro intends to respond to the demands of the finest premium spirit distillers through the consistent quality of its products. It is also with this in mind that the new plant will respond to a higher mass production whilst working towards the company’s carbon emissions and, there, its ecological footprint.
J. C. Ribeiro has always used 100% cork for its products. No synthetic sealant is used; the only materials used in the closures range from plastic, wood, ceramic, metal, crystal, glass, and so forth. Cork seals are the common denominator. Cork is a 100% natural organic, recyclable, and biodegradable product. It is a natural material par excellence, whose harvesting process is sustainable and ecological as it causes no harm to the normal development of its species.
J. C. Ribeiro only acquires cork from suppliers who harvest it from sustainable forests and it intends to continue this practice in coming years. This helps the company to ensure that it obtains the best quality corks whilst also preserving the best that nature has to offer.
